RED is able to develop a sales and marketing strategy for businesses, with a particular focus on SME organsiations and university start-ups.
Workshops & Facilitation
Workshops and focus groups are an important tool for engaging with project teams and stakeholders. The role of a Facilitator is to make it easier for a group to do its work. REDs Facilitators achieve this by providing assistance and guidance to the process of information exchange, rather than control. As part of our facilitation services, RED can also undertake Group Learning: Action Learning programmes.
Leadership Development
REDs Leadership Development is carried out in close conjunction with our training associate, utilising the 360 degrees methodology.
Training
In conjunction with our training associate, RED can provide both structured training programs and individual coaching needs. We are also able to deliver Training Needs Analysis (TNA), especially in the defence and transport domains.
Bid Support Services
Support is provided by RED to a number of organisations to develop business bidding strategies for outward facing systems and infrastructure, and for the development of new commercial business channels. In particular, RED has developed business channels and supported bidding activity in health, transport, environment and pan-european R&D business development.

- Liquid Feed Market Study (The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP)) A Canadian composting organisation has developed a number of unique environmental technologies which divert biodegradable material from landfill disposal. WRAP's Business Development Service engaged RED to provide business development and marketing planning support for the new UK operation.
- Support to Programmes for Change (Project Management Strategy - East Derbyshire DC) The development of a project and programme management strategy for East Derbyshie District Council.
- Knowledge Management Strategy - Change Session KM Teams (The Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA)) Provision of a workshop outlining change management and knowledge management strategies to the knowledge management team and the provision of a selection of related documents.
- WRAP Support to KPS Composting Services (The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP)) KPS Composting Services Ltd provide green waste disposal for clients including Local Authorities and Garden Centres. RED was tasked with assisting KPS in the preparation of a business development and expansion strategy and to help KPS further develop their current composting operation.
- Review of SNH Business Planning (Scottish Natural Heritage) Red was tasked with undertaking a review of the SNH business planning project, including the new approach to planning and proposals for improved organisational performance management and risk.
