RED provides Research, Analysis and Technical Support services as well as Project and Programme management and Business Support services to a wide range of both civil and local government customers.
Our clients include Executive Agencies, such as the Driving Standards Agency and HM Land Registry, non-departmental public bodies, such as the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) and a range of Local Governments such as councils.
RED holds a number of Framework Agreements with Government, including the Driving Standards Agency, WRAP and the Home Office. More details can be found on the Framework and Preferred Supplier Arrangements page.
Example Projects
Below are some projects recently completed by RED, or the case studies listed on the right of this page give a more in-depth view of some of our recent project work.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System (The Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA)) RED was engaged to undertake improvements to the existing Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and to roll-out the system to other agencies and associated partners.
- Offenders Behaviour Modelling (The Home Office) RED was tasked with updating and modifying the existing offender model, updating the statistics the model uses as input and produce new estimates based on these figures.
- Hazard Perception Test Clip Validation (The Driving Standards Agency (DSA)) The UK Driving Theory Test includes a section designed to test a candidates Hazard Perception skills, utilising filmed video clips. RED was tasked with understanding the nature of any improvements seen in the candidate population since the Tests introduction and developing a new clip validation method.
- WRAP Support to KPS Composting Services (The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP)) KPS Composting Services Ltd provide green waste disposal for clients including Local Authorities and Garden Centres. RED was tasked with assisting KPS in the preparation of a business development and expansion strategy and to help KPS further develop their current composting operation.
- Support to Programmes for Change - Project Management Strategy (East Derbyshire DC) The development of a project and programme management strategy for East Derbyshire District Council.
- Review of SNH Business Planning (Scottish Natural Heritage) Red was tasked with undertaking a review of the SNH business planning project, including the new approach to planning and proposals for improved organisational performance management and risk.
