RED has been involved in supporting local and central government departments for more than 15 years.
Public sector and commercial organisations increasingly face difficult decisions in complex domains and often need help and assistance when analysing options, courses of action and potential outcomes. In helping organisations gain the assurance that they are making the right decision or that performance levels are optimised.
Frameworks and Preferred Supplier Arrangements
RED has a range of civil government frameworks and preferred supplier arrangements. Primary routes to market include:
- The Home Office - Social Research Analysis Framework: The framework is divided into several lots, including regional analysis of crime patterns, criminal justice and covers analysis and research studies. Key to this framework is the desire to use analysis to support decision making. As such, quick turn-around was deemed a vital requirement. The framework covers qualitative work, such as focus groups and interviews as well as analyses/ survey analysis, process or implementation evaluations, systematic reviews and literature reviews and longitudinal studies.
- Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS3): Whilst originally a military framework, a range of government departments and agencies are now using FATS where RED holds 296 of the 425 Narrow Area Categories. Support includes consultancy and Subject Matter Expertise.
- Food Standards Agency (FSA): RED receives opportunities direct from the FSA.
- Defra Preferred Supplier: RED has supported Defra for a number of years and receives Defra opportunities direct.
