RED recently won several opportunities to support Dstl Valkyrie and are providing several Operational Analysts/Engineers.
- Provision of a Software Expert to Dstl - 19 Aug 11
RED is providing a Software Expert to Support to Dstl at Portsdown West to give insight into the direction and application of the new/draft DO-1780 for software assurance standard.
- Cost Analyst Support to Dstl CBCD Project - 02 Aug 11
RED has won a contract to provide analytical Support to Dstl Manning, Training & Costs (MTC) Team on-site at Portsdown West.
- Managed Services - 18 Jul 11
RED won the Managed Service contract at Dstl Fort Halstead to support the Exploitation Co-ordination Liaison Team (ECLT). This provides 24/7 cover to help coordinate the work undertaken across the UK Defence Exploitation Facility (UK DEF).
- LogNEC Enterprise Data Warehouse Quality Management System - 13 Jul 11
RED has won a contract providing technical support to LogNEC information exploitation for the implementation and accreditation of an ISO 9001 Enterprise Data Warehouse Quality Management System.
- Dstl Maritime Studies Task 4 - 12 Jul 11
RED has achieved our first success under the recently awarded Maritime Studies Framework. The task was to look at options for Radar. RED is always looking for new associates who may be interested in joining our Maritime Studies website, more details of which can be found here.
- Ergonomists to Support Dstl's Human Systems Group - 4 Jul 11
RED has recently won a contract to support Dstl's Human Systems Group with the provision of Ergonomists, undertaking HF evaluations and assessments of equipment and vehicles.
- RED Employee Julie Callow Completes Race For Life - 13 Jun 11
Despite the damp weather, on the 12th June RED employee Julie Callow completed the 5K Race for Life, raising money for a well deserved cause. Well Done Julie!!
- Defence Core Network Services - Technology Strategy and Roadmap Update - 10 Jun 11
RED, with partners Roke Manor, have successfully completed the Technology Strategy and Roadmap Update for the Defence Core Network Services (DCNS). The project was completed with the production and presentation of a report and roadmap updating the technologies likely to impact on the MoD's Defence Core Network Services between now and 2020. The report included industry views on the directions which telecommunications systems and services would go and identified suggestions for key areas of investigation for the MoD.
- Niteworks Interactive Workshop - Def Stan 00-55 - 21st Apr 11
The MoD is conducting a benchmarking exercise via Niteworks looking at the strengths and weaknesses of the software approach as contained within the obsolete Defence Standard 00-55. As part of this, Darren Boucher, a RED Associate, is running an interactive workshop to enable industry to contribute towards the standards core framework (i.e. content) and to engage with all stakeholders at the start of the benchmarking exercise.

- Dstl Management System Transformation Project Presentation - 31st Mar 11
RED Commercial Director, Eric Scargill and Dstl's Martin Gething jointly presented the Dstl Management System Transformation Project to the South East Region of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) Annual Professional Update at the Institute of Chemical Industries in London on 31st Mar 2011.
- Niteworks Wins - High Hazard Safety Project & Software Safety Review
Having recently become a Niteworks associate, RED has already achieved success, providing Technical Support to C4ISTAR & Air Sector Director providing Technical Leads for the High Hazard Safety Project and Software Safety Review.
- Capability Vision - Assisted Carriage Project
The Assisted Carriage Project, part of the Capability Vision Programme, has been successfully completed with partners Boeing UK, John Deere and Roke Manor. ACS recently reached completion with the production of a technology demonstrator, trials and acceptance by the MoD Customer.
- Corporate Social Enterprise WRAP support projects successfully completed
- RED recently completed business improvement analysis and support to Green-Works and First Fruit in the office furniture recycling sector.
- RED recently completed an Integrated Management System development to ISO 9001, 14001 and BS EN 18001 for Think3e, who specialise in tackling worklessness through recycling, primarily plastics, WEEE, paper and metals.
- RED Supports DE&S with Sharepoint 2007 Implementation
RED is supporting Land in DE&S, with their Sharepoint 2007 roll out to 1,400 users. Tasks include working with stakeholders to exploit functionality through to the design and development of secure team information storage, management and retrieval systems.

RED is delighted to announce that Richard Ley has accepted an appointment as Director C4ISTAR/Air; Richard will also be responsible for strategy development at RED.
- RED Appoints Peter Gibson as Director Maritime
RED is delighted to announce that Peter Gibson has accepted an appointment as Director Maritime, following our successful FATS3 bid to support the Dstl Programmes Area with a Maritime Studies Framework.
- RED Employee Alex Vo Supports Aid 2 Africa Charity
On 13th March Alex Vo, RED employee supporting Maritime Warfare Centre, supported the Aid 2 Africa Charity by running in the John Austin Half Marathon in the New Forest. Well Done Alex !!
