Project, Programme and Project Portfolio Management
To implement an organisational approach to project and programme management, an appropriate environment for the organisation must be established. Once in place, such an environment relieves the pressure on the people involved in implementing new initiatives, allowing them to focus on producing results.
As organisations continue to invest more resources into projects, a disciplined approach is required to avoid costly errors and ultimately deliver an exceptional level of service.
Local Government and e-Government
The requirements to improve quality of services, stimulating the development of a digital economy and complying with government directives such as compliance with the transformation agenda are just some of the tough challenges facing local government today.
RED offers support to local government by working together with local authorities to develop and implement their strategy to meet these challenges. We do this by helping to streamline processes, enabling new ways of working, connecting disparate government agencies and functions to provide more citizen-centric services and working to identify and overcome many of the people-related issues that can be a barrier to achieving the benefits.

- Provision of CTW for Future Core Networks Study (Dstl) Provision of a cost-risk expert to assist in the assessment of Future Core Network options.
- Joint Collective Training (Research Acquisition Organisation (RAO)) Provision of a Joint Collective Training Concept of Analysis to support equipment acquisition and the development of an outline User Requirements Document.
- Support to Wargaming (Dstl) RED provided several ex-military personnel to support wargamming activities.
- Dabinett IGBC Support (ADaPT IPT) Provision of support to the development of an initial gate business case for the ADaPT IPT.
